Action Alert
One timely call for peace, human needs, and an end to war funding.
📞 Support War Powers votes. Strip U.S.-Israel military expansion from the NDAA.
Congress is moving through War Powers fights related to Iran and Lebanon while the National Defense Authorization Act includes Section 224, language that would deepen U.S.-Israel weapons co-development and military collaboration. Call Senators Tammy Baldwin and Ron Johnson and your U.S. Representative.
Congressional switchboard: 202-224-3121
Sample message: I am calling to urge Congress to support War Powers measures that stop unauthorized U.S. military action, including measures related to Iran and Lebanon. I also urge Congress to oppose Section 224 of the NDAA and any other provisions that expand U.S.-Israel military collaboration, block weapons transfers to Israel, support the Block the Bombs Act, and cut the Pentagon budget. Our tax dollars should fund healthcare, education, housing, climate resilience, diplomacy, and human needs — not weapons, war, and corporate military contractors.
