Solidarity is on the Move!

On June 16th, hear & meet a delegation of some 20 activists from the Pacific Northwest enroute to the historic US Social Forum which will meet in Detroit on June 22-26, preceded by the Allied Media Conference there starting June 17 (alliedmediaconference.org). The varied delegation,

traveling on a Pastors for Peace Caravan bus, will include Folksinger Danny Kelly who will perform; and Rick Fellows, mechanic for the PFP caravan to Cuba, who will discuss the importance of breaking the 50 year old US economic blockade of Cuba, the case of the Cuban 5, and Latin American School of Medicine (offering free education for people committed to work as doctors in underserved areas). All who are interested in the USSF and PFP are welcome to come for a 6:15 potluck and 7:00 program at the Central United Methodist Church (639 N 25th St).
