Premier Screening of “DHS Give US Back Our Children”
To Be Followed by Moms’ Speak-Out

Milwaukee- The Mothers and Grandmothers of Disappeared Children (MaGoD) Project, a Welfare Warriors’ support group, will host a screening of the inspiring and heartbreaking documentary, “DHS, Give Us Back Our Children!” on Thursday January 27th at 10am and 6:30pm at the MATC Downtown Campus Student Center, Room S120.

The free screening is sponsored by the MATC Latino Student group. The 20-minute documentary will be followed by a Speak-Out of local mothers and other attendees who will be invited to tell their stories and struggles with the child welfare system.

“The film exposes the unfair proceedings that children and families suffer when they are caught in the child welfare system in this country,” stated an unnamed worker in the Wisconsin child welfare field.
